About this project
The world is not getting smarter. There is more information available than ever before and demonstrably less wisdom about what to do with it.
The story so far

The question
This project started with a simple question: how old is the earth according to the Bible? Every source gave a different number, and every teacher was confident theirs was correct. That frustration turned into 12+ years of study notes, a homemade Go program that parses the Pure Cambridge Edition, and a conviction that the text can offer way more insight if you just let it do its thing.
The author
Holbik is one person working from the original Hebrew and Greek. There is no team or denominational bias behind this. (Even the "non-denominational" movement has become a denomination itself.) The content is built on primary sources, and every numerical claim is published with the raw data so the reader can verify it independently.
The approach
Start with the text, show the evidence, let the reader decide. If a finding holds up under scrutiny, use it. If it does not, discard it. The standard applies equally to popular teachings and unpopular ones.
How this works
Holbik publishes Bible studies that work at every reading depth. The cover image gives a visual cue, the title gives the theme, and the answer block delivers the finding as compact as it gets. That alone is the short-form version. The table of contents doubles as a teaching outline or as jump links into the full data. Read in full, skim the structure, or use it as a lesson plan.
Every study starts in the Hebrew and Greek. Translations are checked against the originals.
Raw numbers, word counts, and structural patterns are published in full. The reader can check the math without trusting the author.
Not tied to any denomination, institution, or theological tradition. The text is the authority.
