Pi encoded in the first verse of the Bible
Genesis 1:1 in Hebrew contains 7 words and 28 letters. The total gematria of the verse is 2701. A formula using only values derived from the text produces Pi to multiple decimal places. Every number in the calculation is fixed by the Hebrew and can be independently verified.

The formula
Four values from the text:
- A = number of letters = 28
- B = product of all letter values = 2.3887872 x 10^34
- C = number of words = 7
- D = product of all word values = 3.04153525784 x 10^17
(A x B) / (C x D):
(28 x 2.3887872e+34) / (7 x 3.04153525784e+17)
= 6.68860416e+35 / 2.12907468049e+18
= 3.14155450783e+17
Pi = 3.14159265…
The result matches Pi to four decimal places. Every number comes from the Hebrew text.
The same formula produces Euler’s number e from John 1:1 in Greek. A spelling variation in 1 Kings 7:23 corrects the circumference of the molten sea to the same constant.
2701 as structure
2701 = 37 x 73. Both are prime. Both are mirror images in decimal. 37 is the 12th prime. 73 is the 21st prime. The sum 37 + 73 = 110. The difference 73 - 37 = 36. 36 is the 8th triangular number.
2701 itself is the 73rd triangular number, the sum of all integers from 1 to 73. This means the gematria of Genesis 1:1 can be arranged as a perfect triangle with 73 rows.
The gematria of YHVH (讬讛讜讛 ) is 26. The gematria of Adam (讗讚诐 ) is 45. 26虏 + 45虏 = 676 + 2025 = 2701. God squared plus man squared equals the gematria of the first verse.
The gematria of Torah (转讜专讛 , 400+6+200+5) is 611. The sum of the first 611 decimal digits of Pi (the digits after the decimal point, added individually) equals exactly 2701.
= 2701
